TBH seen a few older veteran bands and got near the front. They wern't really crowd pleasers. For Example 2/3 songs into "The Who" we joined the stampede to the other stages with the crowd to the ominous whispers of "oh well lets go see see chemical brothers, they might be a bit better".

On the other hand when, in a moment of clarity/madness, we decided to go see what "Rolf Harris" was all about. The stage was mobbed and we could not see a thing. We had to stand about 100m outside the tent and only had a view of blow up kangeroos and the occasional loony stopping in front of us to do some heavy breathing and shout "can you see what it is yet?"

Just my two cents and others probably tell a different story. I think I may be becoming mental in my old age >

BTW I'm not that old

Nothing wrong with becoming mental as long as you can still hear the music. Is the lead singer with the chemical bros not Rolf Harris.

got to agree with jacqui,I wouldn't like just one type of music,to be honest though folk music just doesn't do anything for me.If they could get the stranglers to play .....fantastic

well, the idea is to have a massive eclectic mix of bands, live performance and arts .. something for everyone ..... and, we are truely open to input and ideas - of course remember we have a budget to work to ..!

so, folk, ska, jazz, blues, rock, classical, acoustic, funk, indie, brass, anything .. plus comedy, theatre, circus skills, speakers, etc etc .....

here to please
