one option we have is to appeal the decision .. what are people's views on this?

I'd say yes,because I want the festival to go ahead but of course its up to you, who will be doing the planning and meetings etc, can the concerns that where an issue be resolved? and like i said in the other thread how much clout did the people against the festival have?, eg are they golfing buddies etc with the council.would a reduction in tickets available be financially viable. Less numbers does equal less likely problems.I am a working mum but I dont live that far away, if i could be any use let me know.

If you went to appeal would there be any way to, with a little more time sort out any of the issues they have a problems with . Like the road getting clogged and the issues the police have or have you done everything ? Any thing i can do just let me know , good luck with whatever you decide . clare

Appeal and lets see if we can sort out the problems, look at Leeds festival they try to stop it every year but end up having to give in.

Lets start to lobby all the local council members (in the correct way), and get them onside and supporting what could prove to be a great advert for the dales and the surrounding areas

Ok there maybe some people i could talk to they are council members. Mostly on my side ,if it will do any good. Donny whaits is for the festival . Any others there is one more man i can approach in gig . anything i can do .clare
